CATV

CATV - also known as Cable TV. Originally created for subscribers located in a poor signal area and would not normally be able to get a Television service, or maybe just a very poor one.

This system means that the service provider receives high quality TV broadcasts at its own location and then sends these via cable, its customer home network. This is a large and ever growing industry, enabling many more people to access Broadcast services. CATV requires a wide variety of passive optical products.
