Polarization insensitive Optical isolators work for arbitrary polarization of the input light signal.

Polarization insensitive device are often required when fibers are not of a polarization maintaining structure. Many optical communication systems are used with an un-polarized state, requiring insensitive isolators and other passive components to enable the system to function.

This is the single stage version, for the 2000nM wavelength.
